ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL 2026
One Act Play Festival returns to the Marion Cultural Centre with three captivating one-act plays!
When Bill and Sam pack up their childhood home, grief turns into conflict, memories into battlegrounds, and nothing stays buried for long. "Deep Clean" is a sharp one-act play about that annoying moment you're forced to do chores with your sibling. (DeadSet Theatre Co).
"Boy Meets Girl (A Young Love Story)" follows Sam and Katie as they go through the trials and tribulations of love at the tender age of five. The play explores how children mirror adult behaviour in love highlighting the absurdity and innocence of young love. (Galleon Theatre Group Inc).
"What's the Matter with Mary Jane?" is a powerful one-woman play that explores the raw, painful reality of living with anorexia and bulimia. It takes the audience through the agonizing mental process of eating disorders, showcasing the harsh 'inner critic' and the desparation of being trapped. (St Jude's Players Inc).
